​ At Twisted Anchor Boats, we take pride in the cleanliness and condition of our boats as they are kept in tip top.  And we have the best informed and friendliest customer service.

​

 Safety is our utmost priority while you are on the water.  Florida implemented new safety livery laws, SB606,  and we are in compliance offering the option for our client to purchase insurance to cover the rental period, a Boat Livery Permit as well as NASBLA Safety Certified, specific insurance requirements and have all approved and required USCG safety equipment onboard.

We are available at all times throughout the whole rental process.  From the initial contact, to returning to the dock, we only want the best experience for our clients.

AVAILABLE PONTOON BOATS

  • Bennington:  20ft Pontoon with Double Bimini, seats up to 6-8. 

  • Sweetwater: 23ft Pontoon with a 10ft Bimini, seats up to 10- 12. 

  • Harris:  22ft Pontoon with Double Bimini, seats up to 10-12.

MULTI-DAY 

  • 4 hour-$425*

  • 6 hour-$475*

  • 8 hour-$525* 

  • Bluetooth sound system-on all boats

  • Marine Garmin GPS-on all boats

  • Double Bimini Tops-on all boats

  • $50 deposit due at time of booking

  • Prices do not include fuel or tax​

  • We DO NOT include a booking fee

  • ​Person and weight limits per boat

  • *$25 per day increase during Season and Holiday weeks

  • Cooler rental-$20 (Ice can be purchased at the dock)

  • ​Extended, Sunset &  flexible time subject to availability

Anchor

  • 2-3 Day Boat Rental-$475 per day* 

  • 4-6 Day Boat Rental-$450 per day*

  • 7-Day Boat Rental-$3000*

  • $100 deposit due at time of booking

  • Prices do not include tax or fuel

  • Person and weight limits per boat

  • *$25 per day increase during Season and Holiday weeks

  • *Staying at a dock with a MULTI-DAY rental will depend  on the location and condition of the dock. 

  • *Delivery fee and fuel delivery usage applies. 

  • *Delivery may not be available during Holidays/Season or some weekends.

  • No other discounts can be applied to multi-day rentals.

BOAT OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 30 years old with valid drivers' license

  • Must have two years of prior legitimate boating experience

  • Must have experience docking and anchoring

  • If born after 1/1/88, state law requires a valid Boating Safety Course certificate 

  • Temporary Driver Certificate can done on-line at:   Florida Boating Temporary Safety Certificate

  • You can obtain a Lifetime Certificate here:                  Florida Boating Lifetime Certificate

  • All Drivers/Operators must complete the liability waiver before the start of the rental.

PROHIBITED ON RENTALS

  • Sharp objects

  • Aerosol Sprays

  • Smoking

  • Grills/Fires/Fireworks

  • Towing/Tubing/Skiing 

  • Alcohol consumed by the driver

  • Firearms & Illegal drugs

  • Using life jackets as a flotation device.  Bring floats or noodles

  • Anyone onboard not listed on and signed the liability waiver

  • Anyone driving the boat that has not been prior approved and has not filled out and signed the driver waiver

   ALCOHOL POLICY:

  • NO alcohol consumed by the operator

  • NO underage drinking

  • NO glass onboard

  • NO hard liquor

 

​

OPERATOR & PARTICIPANT WAIVERS

Under no circumstances may anyone drive the boat without prior approval and must fill out and sign the driver/operator waiver.  Nor are any passengers allowed on board that have not signed the participant waiver. 

 

The waivers can be texted or emailed at any time after the reservation has been made.

Permissible:​

  •  Jewfish Key Sandbar

  • Sister Key Sandbar

  • Beer Can (Greer) Island 

  • Palma Sola Bay

  • Dock & Dine restaurants in the ICW

​

Permissible but dependent on weather conditions, driver experience and # of people on board.​

  • South of Longboat Key

  • Around Anna Maria Island in the ICW and/or Gulf

  • Gulf Waters-no further off the coast than 1 mile

​

Theses areas are in Tampa Bay waters and also dependent on weather conditions and driver experience due to potential choppy waters

  • Passage Key (Clothing optional area)

  • Egmont Key

​

No Permissible 

  • Desoto Park

  • North of Egmont Key

  • Skyway Bridge

  • Docking at Rod & Reel Restaurant & Pier or Anna Maria City Pier

Please do not anchor off and swim anywhere around Bean Point as there are strong currents that can be deceiving and dangerous.
